LIFT KIDS - COVID-19 PLAN

Hello Lift Church Family,

Like all of you, we have been closely monitoring the developments and the public safety concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). As the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a state of pandemic due to this virus, we want to assure you that we are taking all available precautions to keep our church family safe and love our neighbors well. It is a time for caution but not for panic.

We know that our trust is fully in the Lord Jesus Christ, and so we do not have a spirit of fear but seek wisdom from our Father. This is a unique opportunity to pray for our community and to show love to a world that is gripped by fear and uncertainty.

At this time, we will NOT be having Lift Kid’s ministry during our Sunday morning gatherings. 
While kids may not be as vulnerable, it is easy for them to spread the virus. We will have a shorter service, so parents can feel free to have their kids sit with them in the auditorium.

If you feel more comfortable having your kids at home, here is a way to get our curriculum so you can continue to disciple them in an intentional way:

Step 1: Go to my.lifeway.com/redeem.
Step 2: Register if you are a new user or log in if you already have an account.
Step 3: Enter this redemption code: VZMD4SSQ38
Step 4: Click "Access" (if prompted to sign in again, sign in) and then click "My Dashboard," and go to LifeWay Kids at Home.
Step 5: Download your Activity Page and One Conversation Sheet to use as you watch the video session.

Continue to pray for God to use even this for His glory. We are living through a unique opportunity to present those around us with the hope found in Jesus. It is not just a health crisis; it is a moment in time with great spiritual potential as we seek to love our neighbors well. Look for opportunities to serve those around you.

If you need assistance, please let us know. If you need help getting groceries or are struggling with anxiety, do not hesitate to ask the church for help. Let's lean into this time and not isolate ourselves but continue to care for and encourage one another. This crisis doesn't appear to be slowing down soon and we need to be the body of Christ to each other.

We will keep you up-to-date on any changes that need to be made. If it comes to it, and we need to stop gathering altogether, we will continue to offer full worship services online.
