September 2015 Update
ELDER RETREAT:
The Elders of our church enjoyed a weekend of camping at Whitewater State Park in August. This annual retreat served to grow the men closer as a team and offered times of reflection on the mighty work God has done in our church. Our Elder Team is unified and excited about all that He has planned for Harvest this ministry year.
GOALS:
The Elders have been discussing and planning goals for the next year. The desire is to have well defined, measurable, and obtainable goals for 2016 and beyond. By God’s grace we are hoping to share a 10-year vision and plan for Harvest Rochester at the next Leadership Rally on January 30th, 2016.
BUILDING:
The Elders have reviewed and discussed opportunities that may exist for a facility. A team is diligently pursuing those options, and we are asking for your prayers on this matter. We know that more opportunities for discipleship will exist when we have a home of our own.
DEACONS:
The Elders are preparing to install our church’s first official deacons in the coming months. While our church is blessed by many men and women who currently lead by serving, the Deacon Team (led by Matt DeCola) will do so by acting as hands and feet of the Elder Team. We are grateful to God for faithful men and women that serve the Lord. Thank you!
